Money Doesn't Grow on Trees

Today the third grade took an economic field trip to the Magic House.  Students earned paychecks, made consumer choices, and used teamwork at their job sites to learn how members of a community depend on each other.

Hieroglyphics Writing!

2nd and 3rd grade visited Egypt as part of our Global Village unit and learned to write our names using hieroglyphics! The kids also wrote a short story with a partner using the hieroglyphic characters. Mrs. King's e- lab 2nd graders came over to join in the fun!

3rd Grade Research

For our informational articles, 3rd grade researched on World Book Kids about their nonfiction topic. Many of the students enjoyed learning about the new features of World Book Kids.

Tasting Mrs. Glazer's Wedding Cake!!
