We started off with a stadium tour, learning about the "batter's eye," Cardinals and baseball history, and a quick peek into the dugout.
After the tour of the stadium—mostly inside and warm—we enjoyed some academic activities with the Cardinals. Our field trip included a fun science lesson on the angles of a hit baseball and variables which impact it, a chance to write and announce a baseball play, and an opportunity to “scout” for baseball players based on numerical data.
