From Novel to Screenplay

Fifth graders explored the process of bringing a story to life for the big screen. They chose a favorite scene from our mentor text, HOLES; and wrote scripts, including stage directions and actors notes, to aide with a performance for their classmates. We look forward to watching for the same scenes in the movie this week!

Team building at Babler Park

Good team members:  communicate kindly, show respect by listening to others, persevere when things are challenging, are honest with themselves as well as their teammates, and responsibly carry out their role as part of the team. We are better friends and stronger teammates because of today's activities. What a special day!
