Have a wonderful summer break!

Some days we wore mustaches, some days we wore red noses, but we ALWAYS wore smiles! Congratulations my sweet third graders... You made me proud this year! Now on to fourth grade!

Reward Party

Such an amazing display of character! The third graders earned a reward party for filling our cube jar and they chose unanimously to celebrate their friends with summer birthdays, who don't normally have an opportunity to celebrate at school! Completely their awesome idea! They planned treats and traditional party games; musical chairs, pin the tail on the donkey, and a piñata! I decided to put a little twist on an old classic... We played pin the mustache on a friend! Boy did we giggle! It was a great party third grade.... May you always be this caring for one another!

Third grade took a field trip on Friday to see Cinderella at the movie theater. Along with our popcorn, we enjoyed the opportunity to see literary elements in traditional literature come to life on the big screen. What I hope my students took away from the movie, above all, was the amazing message... Have courage and be kind!
