What a fun day we had!!

Social Justice- fighting oppression

Academy 4th and 5th graders 

presented frozen pictures to 3rd grade showing 

scenes of oppression from real life

to help think through how to

make these situations better

or prevent them.

We are so fortunate to have this opportunity to work with the fantastic facilitators from Metro Theater!!!! The activities this week kinestheticly explored the topic of equality; what does that look like, how does that feel, how do we respond. The comments from students were insightful and profound!
