2nd grade students conducted research to learn about the planets.
If the moon were the size of a small marble, how many moons would it take to create
Mars and the Earth? It would take about 8 moons to create Mars and about 50
to make the Earth! These lessons launched discussions about the concept of mass, volume, and gravity.
